Mr. Ron Hale



Ron Hale Ph.D., CISM, ISACA Chief Knowledge Officer

Ron Hale is the Chief Knowledge Officer for ISACA, an international association of specialists in information and cyber security, information systems audit and assurance, risk management, and the Enterprise Governance of Information and Information Technology.  During his career he has led security innovation programs as an information security manager, researcher, and consultant serving leading enterprises.  In his current position Ron leads efforts to help ISACA constituents build careers through globally recognized certificate and certification programs that attest to the knowledge and skill required to enable trust in information and information systems.  He works with a staff team of experienced practitioners and a global network of ISACA volunteers who are experts in their particular areas of practice to create knowledge products and tools to help enterprises to address the complex cyber security problems and to leverage emerging technologies to gain the rewards that these solutions offer balancing risk and rewards. He also leads teams to develop the research reports, best practice guides, tools and professional guides that supports ISACA constituents to advance in their careers and to address the information and information technology challenges of the digital age.

Ron has a masters degree in Criminology from the University of Illinois and a doctorate in Public Policy from Walden University.  He has been recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors, being admitted to the Governance 100, for his work in and promotion of effective governance.
