Two CISO Round Tables are being organised under the aegis of the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity 2023, by Cyberlaws.Net and Pavan Duggal Associates, Advocates on 30th November & 1st December, 2023 at SCOPE Complex, Scope Convention Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
Today, cyberspace is an important vector for the consideration of Indian CISOs. With majority of activities in various verticals being done in the digital ecosystem, including governmental digital ecosystem, CISOs’ perspectives on cyber issues become of crucial interest.
As the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity elaborates on various emerging aspects of cyberspace, the two CISO Round Tables will deal with cyberspace from the perspective of CISOs, both from the Government and corporates, in terms of what practical challenges and issues that Government departments, organisations and corporates are facing, given the massive reliance upon the digital ecosystem by them.
How are Government agencies’ and companies’ CISOs trying to cop up with the challenges thrown up by cyberspace, and what are the practical issues and grey zones that Government departments, organisations and corporates are facing in this regard, would be discussed in the two Round Tables.
Further, the two Round Tables will further elaborate on increased adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI as also emerging technologies by the Government departments, organisations and corporates and how to deal with practical, pragmatic, business, societal as also legal and cyber security challenges thrown up by AI including Generative AI. These and other connected issues would be discussed in detail at the said two Round Tables.
The two Round Tables will further aim to elucidate what new mindset and approaches do Government agencies, corporates and their CISOs need to adopt, given the constantly changing cyber ecosystem ground realities and given the advent of Artificial Intelligence including Generative AI and also other emerging technologies. The two Round Tables would be attended and addressed by CISOs of various Government agencies, departments, organisations and corporates.
The two CISO Round Tables will discuss about various aspects pertaining to cyberspace issues and practical challenges concerning cybercrime and cyber security from the perspective of CISOs in today’s times.
The said two Round Tables will also discuss the impact of new laws like the IT Directions 2022 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 on the current operations of CISOs and business activities of their respective Government departments, organisations and corporates.
