LAW ENFORCEMENT ROUND TABLE

The Law Enforcement Round Table is being organised under the aegis of the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity 2023, by Cyberlaws.Net and Pavan Duggal Associates, Advocates on 1^st December, 2023 at SCOPE Complex, Scope Convention Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

The current reliance on cyberspace has led to massive increase in cyber criminal activities. With the advent of Covid-19, the Golden Age of Cybercrime has arrived. With the result, new kinds of cyber criminal activities are increasingly evolving on the horizon. Social media is replete with new avatars and manifestations of new cybercrimes.

The advent of Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI, has completely given a new fillip to the growth of new cybercrimes.

What are the practical challenges that the increasing reliance and adoption of cyberspace and the emergence of new technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI, are throwing up for the law enforcement agencies? What are the practical difficulties that law enforcement agencies are facing in the detection and prosecution of cybercrimes and new age crimes? How can AI crimes be detected, investigated and prosecuted? What are the new methodologies that law enforcement agencies need to adopt, given the advent of Artificial Intelligence? How can the law enforcement agencies better their cybercrime conviction rate? What new mindset need to be adopted by law enforcement agencies, given the constantly changing ground realities? What kind of new capacity building initiatives and strategies need to be adopted by law enforcement agencies in this constantly evolving cyber ecosystem?

These and other connected issues would be discussed at the Law Enforcement Round Table. The Round Table would be attended by the members of various law enforcement agencies.
