The Professional Bodies’ Round Table is being organised under the aegis of the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity 2023, by Cyberlaws.Net and Pavan Duggal Associates, Advocates on 30th November, 2023 at SCOPE Complex, Scope Convention Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The Professional Bodies’ Round Table will aim to examine major issues faced by professional bodies, while dealing with cyberspace activities of the covered and regulated professionals. Today, professionals are increasingly relying upon cyberspace and are using Internet as part of their day-to-day operations. The increased use and reliance of Internet has actually thrown up distinct challenges which are being faced by professional bodies, as they go ahead and regulatory provisions.
The advent of Artificial Intelligence have further complicated the entire scenario and present huge challenges for professional bodies. The anonymity and jurisdictional issues and challenges thrown up by Internet further present distinct challenges for professional bodies while they are regulating their respective professions.
What are the specific practical issues that professional bodies are facing today, while regulating professionals in their use of Internet and cyberspace? What are the new opportunities that the advent of Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI, are bringing forward for various professional bodies? What kind of mindset needs to be adopted by professional bodies, when they are regulating the use of the Internet and cyberspace by various professionals and professions, in their day-to-day activities? What kind of future roadmap and future strategies need to be adopted by professional bodies, while dealing with the advent of Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI, and emerging technologies and also increasing reliance on the Internet?
These and other connected issues would be discussed at the Professional Bodies’ Round Table. The Round Table would be attended by the representatives of various professional bodies of different sectors and verticals.
