Ms. S. Radha Chauhan, Chief Executive Officer of Government e-Market (GeM) SPV
Ms. S. Radha Chauhan is the Chief Executive Officer of Government e-Market (GeM) SPV. She was earlier the President & CEO of National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. She was also the Joint Secretary Secondary Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the Government of India started her bureaucratic career in 1988. A Law graduate from Faculty of law, Delhi University she has the experience of administering and implementing a wide spectrum of government policies and reaching varied services to citizens at large. She is coordinating two national Mission Mode Projects under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP)- the ‘e-district’ Project and the Unique ID project, both of which attempts to address key aspects and concern areas of- delivery ofgovernment services to citizens, on an electronic mode.
Steering the national Communication and Awareness strategy for the overall NeGP initiative is an interesting part of her present job profile. Her association with the post implementation assessment of e-Governance initiatives across the country gives her tremendous opportunity to attempt completing her ‘learning loop’ on the subject of e-Governance.
